Just learned that SRU for that would be more ok than I expected, quoting the
SRU policy:
"For Long Term Support releases we regularly want to enable new hardware. Such
changes are appropriate provided that we can ensure not to affect upgrades on

I only just became aware of this bug myself, by trying to run showkey in
the terminal emulator under i3. The curious thing about it is that
"Couldn't get a file descriptor referring to the console" does not occur

I helped my friend Roger setup five systems running ubuntu with boinc
running in the background for the Einstein@home project. One has a AMD
Phenom 9950 CPU, and the others have AMD FX-8320E, FX-8150, FX-8350, and
FX-8370 CPUs. All have the X64 version of ubuntu installed.
I believe I am still affected by this bug.

My lease is for 24 hours and every day, I get disconnected. If I
disconnect and reconnect the Ethernet cable, connection is restored.

Sorry, please ignore my previous comment. It does work with some
commands, I'm experiencing the failure mentioned above when trying to
run "cupsdisable" and "cupsreject" upon login, but when I try other
privileged commands they work.

There's a strange lag in click-and-drag scrolling visible in System

Test case:
1. Open System Settings > Background
2. Click on a location you will remember.
3. Drag the mouse down/up slowly.
Expected: Scrolling to follow the mouse immediately.
This seems to be a common problem with some different flavors. Oxide
fails to launch because it can't find a satisfying GL configuration.

Having Windoze doesn't always mean that it will update critical firmware
components (it doesn't, and I barely use Windows). I just installed

And yes native Chromium support would be better. Previously racarr had
implemented that but it probably bit-rotted. More recently hikiko has
been talking about doing it as a fun project but I don't know
