Public bug reported:
ipython 2 don't start on artful
see issue on github

Fixed in Artful doing
sudo -H pip install --ignore-installed
backports.shutil_get_terminal_size
** Affects: ipython

This was fixed upstream with Network Manager 1.10:
https://cgit.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/tree/NEWS?h=nm-1-10
Now we need a good GUI to configure all the WPS stuff (gnome-control-center).

I ran into this upgrading from 17.04 to 17.10 on an X1 Carbon 3rd Gen
(Intel HD Graphics 5500). Inspired by reading Mentis's comment. This
fixed it for me:
apt purge gdm gdm3
apt install gdm3 ubuntu-desktop (reinstalling ubuntu-desktop which got removed
in the last step)
Then running `systemctl

@James - Likely it had nothing to do with the firmware update. Have a
look at the linked Ubuntu thread... many of us have been through exactly
what you're going through now. Make a change, seems to help, 2 days
later it's back. Please try some of the suggested solutions we've listed

Fixed upstream now and even backported to 2.4 series.
Fortunately assumptions were confirmed and this was only a fix in ab that was
needed (not the server) which lowers severity a lot IMHO.
Fix for 2.4 is: http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=revision=1814468
This will be in 2.4.30 and I'd think

Bugs,
I think we can skip SRUing this, apt now has a new workaround based on
execve()ing with QEMU_VERSION=meow, which calls qemu-user to exit with
0. It executes a program guaranteed to exit with 1, and just disables
seccomp if that exits with 0.
So it may be PNP0C0D:00 (lid switch), LNXPWRBN:00 (power button), or
ACAD wakes your system up.
Can you attach output of `cat /proc/acpi/wakeup` here?
