Hello I have the same issue. I tried for a couple days to fix it without
any results. I have the latest drivers installed
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/UpgradingAlsa/DKMS). I then tried to set

The autostart entry for light-locker was disabled, and now the session
will not be locked on suspend despite lock-on-suspend still being
enabled.
For testing purpose one has to manually start light-locker.

Everything I have read points to the "3D Driveguard". I appreciate the feature
and would not so much mind the screen auto-reorientation both
a) the screen orientation would auto reset even when the screen is locked
b) screen auto-reorientation could be controlled or disabled in the system

It's basically hardcoding a value. I'm not sure what the correct
behavior should be for all the cases that /home is autofs, or if it
should check that /home/user is NFS
