@ddstreet Well, after thinking about it, I'm actually not sure if this
is an issue after all. Or if this should/must be handled by the system
administrator itself, when using NIS.

Since the `gsfonts` dependency was removed in bug #1862641, some reportlab
functionalities are failing.
It can be reproduced with a simple example. First, ensure that `gsfonts`
package is not installed.

While setting up a perl web application with mod_perl & apache, apache
kept segfaulting.
Broke out gdb, and found that it was segfaulting within perl itself
