Hi Robert, the problem was with linux kernel and it has been fixed in
kernel v3.14 and later. Since kernel v4.4 HWE is available for Ubuntu
14.04 LTS and all other supported Ubuntu versions come with kernel
v3.14+, the issue no longer persists.
As such I guess the bug should be marked as fixed.

aacraid driver patches that add support to Microsemi's new RAID/HBA
product and a bunch of bug fixes.

And, running the following command would bring supervisor up during the

Other than the OP is anyone else using ZFS? I am getting frequent GNOME
shell crashes on 16.10 and am also using ZFS. Normally I'd think it's
unrelated but since there's probably not that many of us using it I
noticed that the OP is also using it...

On Ubuntu GNOME 16.10 the 'u' character is rendered smaller than it
should (i.e. relative to the other characters). This seems to be the
case only for certain sizes (e.g. 10pt) and also goes away if the
scaling factor is increased above 1 (in the GNOME tweak tool). If I
On closer inspection, it looks like all characters except for the 'u'
are displayed *too large,* rather than the 'u' being too small. Zoom in
on the picture and count the number of pixels for confirmation.

I am connecting my monitor through the VGA port and I don't have a any
DisplayPort, DVI or HDMI.

I am facing this same issue of high packet loss in my Lenovo T430s. I am
getting a packet loss of 30~50% which is absurd.

Unity launcher icons tooltips do not disappear when
In my case I hit this error message while doing completely unrelated
stuff. No terminal or Software window open. I was just doing other stuff
and I got the error message with the option to submit the bug report.

Yes, the issue seems to be fixed for me as well with kernal release
3.19.0-49-generic.
