I just did the system updates and it is now working so it seems to be resolved as it is now using gnome-games version 1:2.24.1.1.-0ubuntu1. I suspect this is a temporary fix until things get cleaned up with the newer version. Thanks for your efforts at tracking this down patching it up. Peace -

Interesting, I have a Dell XPS m1330 on Ubuntu Hardy 8.04. For suspend, I have to reboot in order to re-establish a connection. It seems able to scan but not to connect after starting back up. I believe the mod (driver) is IWL3945. I've not tried restarting HAL manually to see if that helps. I've
