With the default init script, this when trying to stop the daemon:
# /etc/init.d/atop stop
Stopping atop system monitor: start-stop-daemon: unrecognized option '--retry'
Try `start-stop-daemon --help' for more information.
Removing --retry 2 from line 40 fixes the issue.
Just for the future peoplen finding this issue, this works:
Instead of:
exten = 1234,n,AGI(/path/to/interpreter /path/to/script,args)
Do:
exten = 1234,n,AGI(/path/to/interpreter,/path/to/script,args)
