Public bug reported: With the default init script, this when trying to stop the daemon: # /etc/init.d/atop stop Stopping atop system monitor: start-stop-daemon: unrecognized option '--retry' Try `start-stop-daemon --help' for more information. Removing --retry 2 from line 40 fixes the issue.
