On a Dell D600 laptop, libplasmagenericshell4 will not install. I get the
standard overwrite error.
I seem to already have most of it installed. 'lsb_release -rd'
Still get same error despite there being NO BROKEN PACKAGES.

Okay, folks, so I just kept updating and updating and it finally worked
itself out. Be sure to remove all plasmoids from the desktop. On another
machine I updated that was causing the problems. I figured it out as it kept
crashing as soon as that plasmoid tried to install. Make sure you are

starts install process. I have HP printer packages installed first.

Okay, all is working fine with a couple of exceptions so far:
Cannot adjust Date Time either from the system tray or from system settings.
I get an error that says, Su returned with an error.

Download went fine after several hours. Installation was spot-on until
it tried to install Tomcat 5.5. Says:

Okay, I also get a black screen with an outlined x in the center trying to
boot up the Kubuntu 6.10 Edgy Live CD. Tried everything and then came to
ByteJuggler's fix and it worked to at least get me to a desktop.
