I keep getting this error when trying to purge kdm package. I use gnome
mainly but when trying out kde (KDM) was installed but when asked I kept
GDM as default (If this helps)

Binary package hint: gedit
I was viewing firefox's prefs.js file in gedit. When I tried scrolling
up and down gedit froze, I tried this over and over and everytime gedit
freezes indefinitely (at least a minute).
I suspect this being a plugin-related issue.

This has been occurring ever since I've started using Lucid (since pre-
alpha). It occurs whenever I manually turn off wireless connection (flip
the switch off) and switch it back on. Even if the wireless is switched
off before booting.
The weird thing is, I get the error

I just tried reinstalling avahi-utils and avahi-daemon and everything
works fine now
