Any chance of this being fixed in saucy? It's kinda silly that this is still an issue. ** Branch linked: lp:ubuntu/game-music-emu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/763997 Title:

This is still an issue in Ubuntu 12.10, amazingly enough. Here's a patch that applies to source to enable zlib and silence some typecast errors. ** Patch added: Enable compiling with zlib, and fix related typecast errors.

Confirmed with Firefox 10.0.2, nvidia 295.20, Ubuntu 11.10. Offending pages include Launchpad bug tracker, due to its 64x22031 sprite sheet https://bugs.launchpad.net/+icing/rev14914/icon-sprites and the new Dropbox design, which features a whopping 64x30030 sprite sheet (which performs even

[Bug 605567] Re: Extremely slow painting of launchpad.net bug details page with nvidia driver

2012-03-07 Thread David Schneider
This is almost certainly due to the huge sprite sheet that Launchpad uses. As #32 mentioned, the 64x22031 sprite sheet https://bugs.launchpad.net/+icing/rev14914/icon-sprites is to blame; disabling it using an ad blocker or equivalent fixes performance. The new Dropbox design also triggers this

2012-02-22 Thread David Schneider
I'm having the same issue with my networked Brother MFC 440CN. BW scanning is very fast with Simple Scan, but color takes forever (even at 300dpi setting). It seems that Simple Scan is setting the scanner to scan at the highest quality regardless of the DPI setting for color, and it's causing

Public bug reported: On Ubuntu 10.10, libgme0 version 0.5.5-2, libgme0 is built without zlib support, so VGZ doesn't work as advertised. It looks like while the package uses CMake, it doesn't autodetect zlib; you have to uncomment the #define in blargg_config.h. ** Affects: game-music-emu
