My scanner Epson Workforve WF-7610 was not recognized by iscan yet xsane
recognized it.

/var/run is a symlink to /run, which is a tmpfs. All files and
directories there get deleted during a reboot. Any ideas how to mitigate
this, so that e.g. SSH configuration in /var/run/zabbix/.ssh/ doesn't
get deleted?

I have tried both kernels you proposed, and can confirm what has been stated in
the opensuse-Forum:
Both Kernels 4.11 and 4.12 SEEM to be working and show no graphic glitches.
So the first idea would be that something happend within the Kernel transition
from 4.12 to 4.13, , but

After the Xubuntu update from 17.04 to 17.10, the intel mobile graphics is
broken.
Moreover, the issue seems to be a little bigger.

Just tried on Windows 10 with both
- Inkscape 0.92.2pre0 (973e216, 2017-07-25) and
- Inkscape 0.92+devel (48344d68f8, 2017-07-29)
and actually Ctrl+Z/Y is switched when I switch from German to English keyboard
layout.
Now
- there might be differences between Windows and
I can confirm (Inkscape 0.92.2pre0 (973e216, 2017-07-25), x64, Windows 10) that
the perspective extension works as expected with grouped text.
You should only ever select two objects: The first object is supposed to be the
path (or group of paths)to be transformed, the second is the path
It works for me, so no, it's not the same bug.
If you have something and want it to have fixed, please report what you
are really observing rather than a guessed reference to some issue.

Like creating "apt-cacher-ng" user profile manually? Or moving the
folder around without adjusting permissions? Or other hocus-pocus with

But you do realize that all versions prior to 1.0.2 are PITA to code
developers?
I.e. the hostname validation, the very basic feature, needs to be
implemented with creepy hacks for OpenSSL before 1.0.2.

Christopher M. Penalver, thanks for your reply. Don't you think it's the same
problem? To me it seems that the brother libraries are not compatible with the
16.10 version of sane, no matter what exact hardware you got.
