Looks like iMac 9.1 sound have Subsystem 0x106 b4300 but kernel is now
expecting it as 0x106b, 0x4900.

Well, looks like it just works. Kudos to Takashi Iwai. Also, now we
don't need to use the model=imac91 it is just automatic detected.
Before submit the patch I will check if we can get a preset that is
independent of automute trick. Also, will make a .deb in my PPA so you
guys can also fix it
Nice, just check now with a clean installation and automute trick is
not needed anymore. So, with the patch the iMac 9,1 sound works without
any trick or tweak... just perfect!

task. Also, the new xterm icon still ugly, I know that it is subjective
but asking about this icons to 9 people around me (3 developers) I got

So, 9 in 9 people agree with me plus some people here plus lots of
people that I meet and also have same opnion before I ask anything but
we still need to make this ugly icons available because your opnion is

Sorry by delay, I just have now a new computer with NVidia 9400 and
sitll having problem with and without compiz enabled, I am using now
NVidia 185 and Compiz Benxhmark show performance of 130~140 and moving
Windows, 290~300 when doing nothing and for some strange reason it goes
up to 390~400
This patch also don't solve my problems, well, the video is not so slow,
to be honest it is fast for most things but not fast as 9.04 and is
really hard to watch videos with Composite enabled.
The problem occurs not only with Compiz enabled, it also happens when
enabled composite on Metacity.
Same here but I am not running from live syste, it is my installation
with last updates (9.10).
Normally it should ask for user password because I am admin of computer
but for some reason it is asking for root password that I never set
since ubuntu uses sudo.
