Yes, works. Printing was not affected by the bug. It already worked
before the patch, it was just a problem of finding the printer.
Ironically I did not even know that the ubuntu cups automatically does
advertise it's printer over avahi. I had made a manual entry under
/etc/avahi/services which
Till, of course I have checked that and removed my manual entries before
confirming the bug to be fixed.
With my manual entries still active (which's names slightly differed
from what cups advertieses) my printers occured twice on the iPad.

I have a few additional repositories, but none of them is related to
aeskulap. I installed aeskulap more than two or three years ago and just
let it run through the normal ubuntu updates.
But I think we are talking about different packages. My dpkg says

reason and how to workaround it.
Reason: Ubuntu's method of creating the 32bit versions of these packages for
the 64bit ubuntu has a bug (see debian/rules of ia32-libs). It does not

Yup, seems so. Bibble5 starts as a 32-bit program and uses it's only Qt
libraries that it brings with. These start to load 32bit gtk stuff from

Hi,
there's a bug in the mapping of geotiff images as backgrounds
(misalignment, shearing, wrong scaling).
The bug has been fixed in the 0.17 version. Would be nice to have an
updated package. :-)

the current ubuntu version of qlandkartegt starts only as long as no
data have been under work. Once it has seen it's first map, it
immediately crashes after start (obviously because of bugs in the
graphic routines) with the error

I just compiled qlandkartegt version 1.0, and ran into the same problem.
So maybe it is a problem of the qt library itself?
