I have given that a try but no luck. It still only finds 3 of the 4
windows that were open at the time of the upgrade with the one it can't
find being the primary one with 50+ tabs.
It does not show up in recently closed tabs/windows either so I guess
it's just lost, extremely

When restarting some of my profile was kept (themes, addons, etc) but
I've noticed my primary window of 50+ tabs was lost. It opened 3 other
windows correctly.

I believe this bug was more to do with full localisation rather than
just language packs, hence it was assigned to the LoCo and was a general
Ubuntu bug. For further detail please see the linked blueprint in the

I'm going to change it back to what it was prior to the recent changes,
I know it's probably no consolation to you but I was experiencing the
same issues and was concerned about the fact that it never seemed to
sync data locally like it said it should. I tried all sorts of different
hacks and attempts to get it working. The only thing that worked was
purging evolution
Can I please ask what version you have that has the issue fixed? I have
3.2.3 installed in precise and there are no updates available in the
backports or proposed. And the issue is still present.

Has anyone done any performance analysis of this in the past? If not can
someone suggest what sort of test would be definitive to see if it does
impact the performance of the system?

I've just had exactly the same error when I upgraded this machine to
Natty last night. I'll attach the same three files to see if anything
can help. As per last time if there's anything else I can do to help
track down the issue let me know. The workaround is simply just to not
select Default at

I can confirm this behaviour, using Lubuntu in a VM when killing
lxsession CPU usage drops down to usual levels and logs the user out of
Lubuntu. Upon logging back in lxsession resumes using 100% CPU.
I have also marked bug 796843 lxtask shows 100% CPU usage regardless of
actual usage as a

I can confirm this behaviour and I can also confirm that if you kill
lxsession it drops the CPU down to lower levels (watching CPU usage on
host computer when running Lubuntu in a VM) but also logs you out.

I've just scanned my ~/.xsession-errors and the .old file associated
with it and neither of them go back far enough to provide any
information for 6 months ago. Hopefully Lukasz will have some useful

I'm not sure if these have been modified since the issue existed sorry

I have marked this as confirmed as I can reproduce the error on one of
my 2 machines. On my up to day Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64 bit running gnome the
documentation works flawlessly. On my Lubuntu 10.10 32 bit machine I get
exactly the same results as listed in the bug.

make the installation try to autologin and to use an existing /home
