I just finished helping someone with this issue. It turned out to be
caused by an install of glib and gvfs in /usr/local . For everyone

workaround, I have created /etc/pm/sleep.d/50-macbook_touchpad_fix with

Ubuntu has no package for mupen64, n64 emulator
Yes, ssh was hanging again for me again so I tried to kill
seahorse-agent and seahorse-daemon and then ssh worked. So that at
least narrows down the problem.
