Can you upload your /etc/network/interfaces-file? It might be that
network is not fully up before your dovecot starts, can you also run
sudo find /etc/rc* -name '*networking*' and sudo find /etc/rc* -name
'*dovecot*'

So you have 160GB USB-disk with 150GB of files, which you tried to tar?
You need to have enough free space in same disk (enough means size of
final tar-package). Did you mean with 95GB free space your other disk
than one that you were using while performing operation?
