(3.5.0-27.46~precise1):
With at least one VM (KVM) running, the system does not freeze, but the aport
GUI still pops up a few times a day.
Without any VM running, the system sometimes freezes completely..

I am using Ubuntu 12.04 x86_64 on a Dell Latitude E6520 with Intel Sandy
Bridge CPU/GPU (no additional GPU).
The issue was not present on 11.10 and it started appearing only a few days ago
on 12.04.
So, until a few days ago, Ubuntu 12.04 was fine as well.
The computer
I am using 12.04 x86_64 and since a few days, my Ubuntu informs me about
problems, which seem to relate to xserver-xorg-video-intel-lts-quantal.
Sometimes, the whole computer (GUI hangs, no reaction on mouse/keyboard, can't
switch to the terminal) hangs for several seconds. A few minutes ago,

- bootfs is ext3, rootfs ext4
- both are logical volumes on top of raid1
- did snapshots of root boot before upgrade and it worked for the first reboot
