One thing I've noticed is that the actual org.gnome.desktop.interface
text-scaling-factor setting is overridden by something; when I set it to
e.g. 1.5 I get 1.125, when I set it to 2.2 I get 1.650 etc.
I guess some clever magic somewhere needs to be disabled too to truly
set it by hand.

So this is similar but not identical to what music-app did.
There's a qtpowerd source package in the coreapps-drivers daily PPA that
will wrap Powerd's requestSysState API; for mediaplayer-app we need some
similar wrapper for requestDisplayState API.
So we need to add this feature to qtpowerd,

Can't play big_buck_bunny_480p_H264_AAC_25fps_1800K.MP4 from
http://samplemedia.linaro.org/ with mediaplayer-app; I get:
AbstractPlayer: This file contains no playable streams.
The file is MP4 mux with MPEG4 AVC (part 10) / H264 video, and MPEG4 AAC
audio.

Hi,
For SF, we were whitelisting dialer-app and music-app from being
SIGSTOP-ed when put in the background; this needs to be done for Mir
too. Saviq says dialer-app isn't needed anymore though.
