Unable to view menu strip

Clean install of Ubuntu Gnome 13.10 with ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3 and
ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-next PPAs added.
Installed Thunderbird and configured account.
Unable to view File, Edit, View etc menus.
Restart application. Still unable to view.
Tried Global Application menu
I've run into this issue today. Clean install of Ubuntu GNOME 13.10. Shortcut
keys work.
Added PPAs gnome3-team/gnome3 and gnome3-team/gnome3-next
Now am no longer able to use shortcut keys.

Open a new terminal window (I used ctrl+alt+T)
On the new window, open a new tab (I used CTRL+SHIFT+T)
Resize the window while the 2nd tab is active.
Remove focus from window (I used alt+tab but clicking another window also
worked)

This is due to account-plugin-irc not being included in the packages
with the Ubuntu-Gnome (64-bit) image. The following are included by

I am using Gnome-Shell, from the Ubuntu Gnome 13.04 (64-bit) beta image
(ie unity itself not installed).

Open Empathy.
Click on Empathy Menu Accounts
Choose Add Account
-- IRC Is not listed.
Open Terminal.
run: sudo apt-get install account-plugin-irc

Can't login in Windows

The bookmarks sidebar is no longer available. Unable to edit or delete existing
bookmarks.
Able to add new bookmarks however they can not be edited afterwards.
Bookmarks sidebar is missing from enclosed screenshot. No options to
restore it in the menus.

Also receiving this error.
When using FTP to a NAS. First file transfer (up or down) works fine.
However after starting the a second transfer after the first has
completed the stream seems to stall partly through transfer and after
cancelling receive this error. It appears that the stream is
