Thanks Mark, I had the same problem and after doing what you did it now
works for me. Manually replacing the default resource for contacts and
calendar with an akonadi resource in KDE Resources should also do the
trick.
Installing mysql-server didn't change anything, by the way.

On a wild guess, this can be related to a firmware (microcode) issue in
iwlagn. I suggest installing linux-backports-modules-jaunty which will
cause an updated (and apparently less problematic) firmware to be

This is a self-authored DVD from a capture of a tv card. On some of my DVDs
seeking can be done without loss of audio, on others the audio vanishes. This
seems to be a problem of VLC (or my DVDs??) because i can reproduce the same

7.10: I noticed the same issue Jeffery Bond noticed. This also happened
with 6.06, probably because the NFS mounts did not show in /etc/mtab
(even though they did in /proc/mounts). However, with the patch Georg
Wulff supplied the NFS mounts show up in /etc/mtab again, and slocate's
updatedb skips
This is not a bug in virtualbox-ose so I'm closing this bug tagging it
'invalid'.
