I too, can confirm that this is an Ubuntu-specific issue. I just booted
to a Fedora Live CD, installed evolution-rss on it, and imported my
feeds. Then I went through various feeds, without any issues whatsoever.
On my Ubuntu 12.10 amd64 build, I can only navigate a plain-text only

Does anyone know if this affects only Ubuntu users, or is it something
upstream? I can also confirm this still affects Evolution 3.6.2 running
evolution-rss 0.3.92-0ubuntu2 installed on Ubuntu 12.10.

I too, can verify that this issue is still present in Precise. When I

my addressbooks showed up. One thing that I may be doing differently now

I can confirm this on a fresh installation of Ubuntu 12.04 (64-bit) from

Has this fix been pushed out, so our apt-get update will catch it? And

Thanks for the clarification. However, does that mean that there's no

I realize that this is listed as fixed Released, however on a brand
new upgrade to 11.04, my windows all open up underneath the Unity
Launcher (regardless of whether I've repositioned them or not). This is
under the Ubuntu login session (so I'm assuming that it's under Unity,
and not Unity-2D).
I can confirm this still happens in Ubuntu 10.10 x86 with all of the
available updates (as of April 1, 2011 at 2100 UTC). I have a third
panel which I added to the right side of the screen, and that started it
for me. However moving the panel to any other location does not fix
this issue. I
This still occurs with the Thunderbird Daily Shredder builds (not the
Firefox Daily Namarooka builds though). This is on a clean install of
Unity-2d made on 3/20/2011 on Maverick.
Have a great day:)
