This fix caused a regression in our Dracut-based boot setup.
Since this patch was incorporated (237-3ubuntu10.17), some of several of the
(PC-type) models we provide to our customers that tend to have "slow I/O", no
longer boot because Dracut times out waiting for the root file system to come

I can confirm that it fixes this issue if applied on top of Bionics

I thought I had mentiond this already, but apparently I haven't. For me
the redraw issues only occur with this kernel (and newer), if the output
is rotate (left/right).

Leaks file descriptor to /etc/libvdpau_wrapper.cfg
Public bug reported:
Everytime the libvdpau library is unloaded and reloaded again, it leaks a file
descriptor to /etc/libvdpau_wrapper.cfg.
As a result, an application that displays many videos in its lifetime, will run
out of file descriptors.

gateway and something seems to go wrong with that? I have something very

Actually, I uploaded pigment 0.3.14-1 a few days ago, at the same time
