Maybe the output field on that prior screen is not being updated?

So it seems to make progress...

and it fails with encrypted/unencrypted partitions of various types, including
XFS, btrfs, swap.
A comment on useability:
Currently all the status output of the disk manipulation attempts is filtered
into a single line on the bottom
