[Bug 1768976] Re: Ubuntu 18.04 is overheating after upgrade from 16.04

2019-01-13 Thread RastaPopoulos
Same symptoms here and no nvidia GPU, only "simple" Intel. Since this version, temp is very high. Between 70 and 80 by default, and up to 90 and more with a youtube video and even more with a 3D game like Minetest… and then it shutdowns (like max 5-10min on Minetest). It was clearly not the case

[Bug 1613297] [NEW] unity --replace crashes/closes some applications (but not all) since 16.04

2016-08-15 Thread RastaPopoulos
Public bug reported: Context : when I start Unity, Compiz takes ~40Mo of RAM. But when I use my computer hours and hours, then it takes more than 100… 150Mo. So since many years, I regularly restart Unity with "unity --replace", and it works : only relaunch the interface, and less RAM. But since

And how to work again, when we are just basic users who use the package version of Gedit ? Is there a fixed package ? a PPA ? Or I just uncheck all completion waiting a classic update ? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu.

2014-08-31 Thread RastaPopoulos
I precise that I don't want a complicated feature : I just want to disable completly the raws importation. On/Off. Just that, and the world will be happy. :D -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu.

[Bug 1331404] Re: Migrate from hamster-applet to hamster-time-tracker and update to latest upstream release

2014-06-19 Thread RastaPopoulos
It works for the stable PPA, the daily one crashes on truty for me. But it seems there's no hamster-indicator for this version hamster- time-tracker (3.X). If we try to install the indicator, apt wants to remove the recent hamster-time-tracker and to replace it by the previous hamster-applet

2014-05-24 Thread RastaPopoulos
I confirm the loss. I used to put my real contacts in this adress book because they were then accessible in different contexts : Thunderbird, standalone Contacts app, Empathy, etc. Now I have to duplicate all contents… -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu
