drive. It failed near the end with a fatal error and without me having
any hint on what to do for a corrective action. I would expect to have a

After a clean install the touchpad doesn't work
I experience this bug with the following machine:
Lenovo Thinkpad Twist s230u
OS: Ubuntu 12.04.4
The driver is Synaptic TouchPad.
The problem I experience is as follows:
At computer boot (after power off) the driver is not loaded (the output
of xinput --list command does not list PS/2

Using polkit-gnome-authorization doesn't work for me (it only displayes the

modified /etc/default/klogd to set the parameters for klogd i noticed
that klogd was not running after restart.
