Interestingly, I left virtual machine with not working Nautilus running,
and few hours later found that Nautilus started after all. So it's not
like it not working at all, it's just take few minutes/hours to show the
window.
I restored virtual machine backup created yesterday and this was

In my case menu starting to always appear on various devices from small
tablets to workstations.
Is anyone can explain why /etc/grub.d/00_header generate
/boot/grub/grub.cfg like this by default for btrfs partitions? I have at
least one laptop where it cause GRUB2 menu appear on every boot with 30
seconds counter:

Not for 16.04.0-16.04.2 as far I remember, but still issue for 16.0.3
and 16.04.4. I guess as soon as 16.04.5 get released this issue should
be harder to reproduce, just like in 18.04 now.

In addition to Dell Venue 8 Pro 5855 tablet with Dell Wireless 5809e
(Comment 13) I find same issue reproducible on Dell Wireless 5810e
(Telit LN930 with 1620 firmware) with patch from Comment 23.
I also find that detach/attach modem via systemd unit is sufficient,
ModemManager restart seems like

I also need to mention that workaround from Commentary 16 later was
modified to not only restart ModemManager, but also detach modem before
suspend, and reattach it after suspend.
systemd unit is attached.

ModemManager 1.6.8, patched, suspend->resume cycle
I was able to test it kind of ahead of time, and unfortunately this
doesn't help. Log attached.
