Rebooting with 915resolution (--force-conflicts) installed and I got my native resolution back. Compiz doesn't work (I get the white screen), but that's not important to me, native resolution is, as bitmapped fonts look like crap without it (TT/AA fonts look ok, but thats because they look crap
