In my case, pressing F12 gave me the device booting order menu. It showed only
my hard disk as the device (I have only one hard disk). However, below that it

I was trying to install ubuntu by installing ubiquity installer in my
current installation. Installation target was my usb hard drive. This
did not succeed.

Hi Christopher,
Thanks for your detailed response and thanks for working on this bug.
This bug isn't present in the desktop cube plugin so I might try to use
it for a while though it's not quite as effect as desktop wall plugin.
Is this bug the reason why workspaces have been disabled by default
Sorry about changing the bug report status (I reverted it to original
status again afterward). I realized that the fix was scheduled to be
released in compiz 0.9.11 and Saucy is running compiz 0.9.10.

How do I install xpdf-3.03-11ubuntu3 on Ubuntu 13.4? If I do
sudo apt-get install xpdf
it tells me I have the latest version. Should this latest package not be
a part of a normal update?

I thought CA0106is the model. I will find the chip and updat this
blog. In the mean time can you tell which soudn card is compatible with
Ubuntu 12.04 so that I can buy one. What are my options?

Thanks Vladmir. That works. The weird part is that - if you do Alt + F2
and go to the shell and follow the same steps of mounting the cdrom -
they don't work. But previous steps do the trick.

I'm tempted to switch back to Windows because of this bug... =(
I use my laptop to do presentations demos all the time, and this bug
makes presenting very annoying!

Just wanted to add that I am using a Lenovo w520 and this bug appeared
after I upgraded from 11.10 to 12.04.
I also found another work around. I can go to All Settings - Network
(or just Network from the Unity Menu) and change the wifi network from
there. I can also stop and start the wifi from
