This is working for me now too with the above fix on kernel 2.6.32-16.
It appears to have also corrected the wonky volume settings for
headphone output as well which is a nice perk. I used to only get
reasonable volume levels at about 7% output but not the volume slider
has a much more useful

I received this error immediately after updating my Karmic NBE to Lucid.
Empathy version is 2.29.90 as well.

I just received this error when resuming from hibernation shortly after
a fresh install of the netbook remix. No applications were running

Immediately after upgrading, there was a notification that landscape-
client had crashed.
Interestingly, Synaptic says that landscape-client isn't installed.
landscape-common is though (version 1.3.2.4-0ubuntu0.9.10.0)
