[Bug 6107] Re: The 'irb1.8' package does not create a link which is simply called 'irb'

2008-06-04 Thread Simon Wong
Ok sorry for the noise. Somewhere in my installation irb1.8 was pulled in as a dependency but not irb. Thanks. -- The 'irb1.8' package does not create a link which is simply called 'irb' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/6107 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu

[Bug 69797] Re: The 'script/console' command does not work

2008-06-03 Thread Simon Wong
This is a problem for my Rails Web Server. The irb package should create a symlink in the same way that the ruby package creates a symlink for ruby. /usr/bin/irb - /usr/bin/irb1.8 I am going to head over to the irb package now... -- The 'script/console' command does not work

[Bug 6107] Re: The 'irb1.8' package does not create a link which is simply called 'irb'

2008-06-03 Thread Simon Wong
I am not sure why this is marked as fixed when the Hardy (8.04) irb package does NOT create that symlink. -- The 'irb1.8' package does not create a link which is simply called 'irb' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/6107 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs,

[Bug 216990] Re: error in auth.log when switch user -- pam_smbpass.so

2008-05-01 Thread Simon Wong
I know very little about debconf so do not understand the technical issue alluded to above regarding pam and debconf. However, I do not think it should be in the default configuration that smb passwords maybe used to login - that is a specific requirement that should not be enabled by default. I

2007-06-26 Thread Simon Wong
I would try using the pkitool (/usr/share/doc/openvpn/examples/easy- rsa/2.0/pkitool) it makes managing keys for OpenVPN or anything else really so much easier. You possibly need to have set some of your environment variables first? -- generating keys does not work

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: glabels Using the version in Edgy (looks the same in Fiesty). When a glabels file is opened, if you click on an image it's size changes to something quite small. Happens on a few different files that I have worked with and re-opened to modify. **
