I can confirm that the issue is still there in Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS. I'm not sure if it counts, but landscape-client is not installed on the affected system. Instead there is landscape-common installed. I tried to add the package to the affected packages list of the bug, but without any success.

I do not know what the meaning of LMDE is. But sure is that one mencoder instruction fails with 64 bit package while 32 bit package does a good job. What can I do to get closer to the origin of the failure (mencoder/mplayer or some libs?!?). what should I test? -- You received this bug
