With what specific games are you seeing this issue? 32- and 64-bit
versions of DOSBox are able to run the same programs. (I suppose you’re
thinking of the fact that long mode can’t run 16-bit code, but that’s
not an issue in DOSBox.)

it to debhelper compatibility level 10 and fixed configure.in so that

support. The Debian package does: https://packages.debian.org/sid/wput
(that's where I fixed the issue). Looking at the build details, I'm not

I'd expect to see something like

Thanks! Your joystick doesn't appear in the list of USB peripherals, so
it looks like something is going wrong before jstest-gtk can even get a
chance to use the joystick. Could you try disconnecting your joystick,
reconnecting it, and then running
dmesg | tail -n 20
in a terminal, and pasting

Could you show me what lsusb reports, with the joystick plugged in (I'm
assuming it's a USB joystick)? Open a terminal and type in
lsusb
and copy/paste the output...

Actually I was thinking of spec files, not linker scripts, sorry!
It would end up looking something like
x86_64-w64-mingw32-gcc -mwin32threads
to build with Win32 threads, etc. Or perhaps -mthreads=win32 (and
-mthreads=posix), depending on what I can get the specs to do.

The script is actually a symlink to /usr/share/pkg-config-crosswrapper,

libevdev 1.1-rc2 (aka 1.0.99.2) is going into Debian unstable right now.
I'll be updating the test suite as a followup upload when I get all the
