@Martin Pitt: In my case this happened likely because I'm configuring my
system to be minimalist. This means that I'm removing all packages which
are not needed (and init wasn't needed for a working system). The
upgrade caused then that the new package upstart-sysv hasn't made it to

Option to overwrite encryption key in memory on locking

Public bug reported:
I'm using Ubuntu 15.04 dev with e2fsprogs 1.42.12-1ubuntu1 and if a
device is mounted multiple times e4defrag doesn't notice this and will
check/defragment the files multiple times. Here is an example:
root@ubuntu:~# e4defrag -c /dev/sda1 | grep extents
Total/best extents
Public bug reported:
I'm using Ubuntu 15.04 dev with udev 218-2ubuntu3 and if the tray of an
optical drive is open and open() will then be used on the device file
the tray will be closed. Here is an example code (compiled with gcc
-Wall -pedantic -o test test.c):
#include fcntl.h
int main()
{
Maybe it is then a bug directly in VDPAU.

Title:
Graphic issues
I think that is the expected behaviour of apt-get...
And why does the dependency list of vlc-nox say it can have libavcodec54
or libavcodec-extra-54 installed while libavcodec-extra-54 does then
remove vlx-nox?
you should request to install libavcodec54 if you want to rpelace
If you are using the Mesa VDPAU driver, please not that it is buggy...
I'm using libvdpau1 0.8-3 (that comes automatically as dependency from
nvidia-settings).
If you are sure that this is a VLC bug, please provide the VDPAU trace, e.g.
running:
# VDPAU_TRACE=1 vlc 2014_12_17_09_54_35.mkv

Public bug reported:
I'm using Ubuntu 15.04 dev with vlc 2.2.0~rc2-1 and on enabling VDPAU in
the VLC media player (by going to the menu bar - Tools - Preferences
- Video - Display - Output and setting it to VDPAU output (on my
system this seems also to be the default from Automatic)) I'm seeing
401 - 500 of 1403 matches
