No, they should look like folders, not like any other 'object'. The only
good way to do this, is to do new icons like the folder-home icon. It
will take more time, but I don't think we are in a hurry to change these

I got a beautiful patch by commenting out a faulting g_free()... ;)
Now nautilus is starting without crash.
It is not a real patch (I do not have enough knowledge for it), but it could
help to find the real cause.
The patch was build against the source package brasero-2.25.92.

For what it's worth:
I had the same problem till someone suggested I should reinstall
python-qt4-dbus. I did, using the same version (4.4.4-2ubuntu5) from another
mirror and the bug is gone.
