Network-manager: vanilla Karmic (0.799...) and 0.8 from PPA
lsusb returns:

Several
libgtk1.2 is simple too much widespread to just ignore it. In my case, I
upgraded to Karmic to do some tests in preparation of upgrade for ~30
workstations. All of them use legacy software ( a tool for low-level
electronic devices ) and that legacy software use libgtk1.2.
Is there any chance to
Cory's fix also worked in a upgraded Jaunty on a Dell 640m.

I noticed this problem after an upgrade from 8.10 to 9.04. Selecting
Hibernate from the Shut down menu will just lock the screen.
I am on a Dell 640m. My entire / in encrypted. The hibernate feature
worked flawless in 8.10

Wont suspend (or hibernate), won't say why, and is annoying.
