liferea doesn't download all unread messages on some feeds

This is a regression from early Jaunty Alphas and Intrepid.
When you boot, the screen brightness is set up to the lowest value. This
remains like that in GDM, and is only set up to a reasonable value after
you login and see your desktop.
For now, a workaround is to make the

I have a similar problem with a dell latitude e4300 and a belkin N1
router. The problem is limited to high bandwidth situations (e.g.,
playing youtube videos). The connection drops (although the network icon
status does not change) and then is again active in about one minute.
