I seem to be able to get this crash consistently after locking the
desktop and after a little while I come back and the session has
crashed.
Need to reboot usually after this. Same nvidia driver version 550. Up to
date 24.04 install.

people seem to be fixated on fixing only the boot parameter that can be
added. That is an option
Since this is closed I created another issue for actually adding the
option to skip the test like is done in the Desktop iso.

server running 18.04 by adding it as a replica to a current setup, but

Someone suggested noveau.modeset=0 however for me that does not boot for
me either. The only setting that will is nomodeset as mentioned here in
the first entry.
