(just to evade this bug) on another partition and when I did a warm reboot from

I instaled ubuntu 11.04 with usb mouse so i didn't use touchpad and when
i tryed it didn't worked ... tried in system preferences to fix it...
all options are adjusted like the way they should ... touch is not
locked ...

Sorry, forgot to say, evdev is fixed as I've described here:

(it is recognized as absolute touchpad without this fix and behaves like
touchpad - drag moves cursor etc)

Using modified hid-multitouch driver (patch is coming soon) device is
now reporting multitouch events. But in Ubuntu (any programs) still no
gestures or something. I can draw two lines simultaneously in mtview and
mtdiag though. Attached evtest log contains one-finger move and (after
release)

As I can see this Ntrig device uses protocol type A, where's no way to
to track touches, so it sends SYN_MT_REPORT events (see
http://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/input/multi-touch-protocol.txt).
hid-multitouch exports protocol type B, where ABS_MT_SLOT is used for
tracking contacts. Is utouch
No output from geistest and gesturetest. No tool named geisview in tools
from default repo. Do I need to add ppa?
