[Bug 1088013] [NEW] Ambigous use of depreciated

2012-12-08 Thread ijk
Public bug reported: The way ffmpeg is described can be misinterpreted to imply that the ffmpeg project has been universally depreciated, but it hasn't - it's still in active development. Also as this isn't an ffmpeg release of ffmpeg, but rather a libav release of an old ffmpeg I think the

Works for me too with an aftermarket Balance Board. gnome-bluetooth's pairing wizard flashes up a pin number very briefly, then immediately says pairing was successful. No crash. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu.

This is broken again in precise, specifically when the launcher is on all displays. I have 2 monitors the display name appears in the top left of the left one (bad) but just below the close button on the right (good). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu

[Bug 987787] Re: Multi-monitor - Reduce the stickyness of the 'sticky edges'

The current Sticky edges are too sticky but only because the edge behavior is baaad. (IMHO) The behavior I would like: * No movement loss * Temporal asymmetric stickiness Imagine I'm moving my pointer across an edge below the sticky speed threshold - What I'd like would be my cursor to stay

[Bug 793970] Re: Top panel should show a hint that current window offers menu items

2012-02-16 Thread ijk
I thought the reasoning for hiding the menu was to save vertical screen space. This makes sense for a maximized window, but a windowed window already has a title - so why not use the top panel for the (unhidden) menu instead? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of

This happens to me sometimes with the default workspaces (2x2) straight after logging in via gdm. Never had a problem with gdm itself. I use unity. Changing the workspaces to 4 in 4 rows makes X crash every time after login, and changing it to 1 workspace in 1 row seems to be stable (so far).
