I had a similar problem show up on Lubuntu 16.04 (i386). One thing that
SEEMS to work (it actually made a Samsung phone reboot!) is
1) disable the "USB debugging" on the phone;
2) set the phone to Airplane mode (so it doesn't try to make a network
connection).

Similarly to Bug #696075 , the package python-lazr.delegates breaks
ubuntu-bug (apport-bug) in Lucid Lynx.

So, it suffices to edit /lib/udev/rules.d/40-libchipcard-tools.rules and
replace SYSFS{idVendor} by ATTR{idVendor} and SYSFS{idProduct} by
ATTR{idProduct}? Or is there more to it than those two text
replacements?

Running thunderbird with the -g switch, the following SIGSEGV was produced
when attempting to access the Trash folder, which aggregates three trash
folders: one for local mail, one for a NewsBlogs subscription, and a third

In a virtual machine (VirtualBox) I have a Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit instance,
which has gnome-terminal 2.29.6-0ubuntu5 . It still has the Default
size options in the Profiles dialog (General pane), and I can
confirm that that version does retain that option.

I've observed this when booting from a LiveCD image (ISO file, not
directly from a burned CD) when booting from a GRUB entry. These are the
contents of my /etc/grub.d/40_custom file:
