In fact, while sleeping, I pulled out the disk, on return, the disk is
still there, and I can copy stuff to disk for a while before it realizes

Hello Remi.
I did not know I had to install the libavcodec-unstripped runtime as the
program does not indicate this when I try to preform this action.
libavcodec-unstripped is not a package in Ubuntu repositories. I have tried
adding the libavcodec-unstripped-52 (4:0.6-2ubuntu2) and trying to
Testing iPod Sync in Banshee 1.7.6 in Maverick Meerkat Beta (Ubuntu
10.10) seems to work somewhat better.

Sorry about the delay in responding. The issue is that ejecting the iPod
kills the power and the data stream to the device. It should output
power, but kill the data stream, allowing the iPod to charge and be
used. This bug is reproducable in 10.04 and 10.10 beta.

sense that clicking on a disk will make the window grow in size. I feel

@JFo - The CPU is not capable of doing CPU scaling. The CPU scaling
gnome applet always reports this. The temperature of the CPU after 1
hour of use is 54 C

Adding a Xerox WorkCenter 7425 is not a simple thing to do since jockey
proposes drivers that have nothing to do with this particular model. In
the attached screenshot, you will the some of the proposed drivers.
