The example I used in the screenshot was showing a users 'reputation' on
stackexchange sites via the stackapplet app. I'd much prefer showing
1.2k, which would mean 6 chars (1024 - 12.31k - 999.9M). If that's
reasonable, It'd be a great additional use-case.

Here's how to replicate the problem:
* Start Totem, make sure disable screen saver while playing [all] is enabled
* Let it play something for as long as the idle time-out for the screen saver
* Try to notify-send
This may also be a bug in Totem - as Jeremy Nickurak suggests.

i was struggling with this problem for the last few days now on ubuntu
and fedora. Once i removed my cheap and cheerful cd burner the problem
was gone. However, i maintain it's a software bug, since the drive
worked perfectly well with kernel = 2.6.19, i.e. without libata
handling pata devices.
I am running into the same problem, but I only have one connection at
eth0 (in addition to lo and virbr0, which I tried disabling to no
avail). Running Jaunty on 32 bits.

The cdrkit package provides wodim, it should however provide cdrtools
(confusing?)
However, cdrkit depends on brasero, or the other way round. i now removed
wodim, which in turn removed brasero.
So. there is a ppa which provides deb packages for cdrtools and mkisofs,
because is's not to up to
@Mackenzie Morgan: i don't think popping up 50 windows is merely a
cosmetic problem :-)

buggy website example?
With the totem plugin installed, firefox _should_ be a multimedia
player! It should play all sorts of media, nothing short of that.
Hope that helps,

When changing the font resolution on System - Settings - Appearance -
Fonts - Details (could be slightly different due to i18n), there is no
way to apply the new setting other than to click on of the (unrelated)
controls on the window. While it's not a major annoyance at all,
