Using Ubuntu 12.04 with Kernel 3.5.0-x and nouveau drivers works around the
problem on MSI gx700x laptop.
Using nVidia binary drivers seem to cause this.

I also hoped that this function will do something like mini-cd

I can confirm this, last version from ppa is very slow, it took me around 1 hour to create 4G usb stick with persistence file.
But the good news is, it created boot sector correctly (I had problems, that it was installed grub on that usb stick before,
and the usb-creator from standard ubuntu

So because of this problem, I decided to use Aircrack driver again. But
it is not so easy as I thought, there are compilation problems with
2.6.27-7 kernel (and maybe all 2.6.27 based kernels)
