I cannot build the virtuabox-dkms 4.1.12 module with the latest kernel. Log is attached. What i figured out is that when I disable the VT-x/AMD-V Acceleration for the guest it doesn't freeze anymore. So I wonder if this is a kernel bug or Virtualbox bug? ** Attachment added: make.log

I tested with this kernel: (3.5.0-999.201207230434) http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/daily/current/ and this one: (3.5.0-030500rc7.201207142035) http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.5-rc7-quantal/ with neither of them I was able to build the virtualbox-dkms-module.

Hi Christopher, in installed the latest Virtualbox (4.1.18) from the ppa. Now I'm able to compile the dkms-modul but the bug still exists. With activated VT-x/AMD-V the system freezes with all the kernels I tested (3.2.0-26.41/3.5.0-999.201207230434/3.5.0-030500rc7.201207142035) ** Tags removed:
