I have the same issue with ubuntu 13.04 AMD64.
I´m using a server edition with package ubuntu-desktop.
At first I installed the lv_root with reiserfs and than re-installed it with
ext4. The root_lv still busy whem booting or rebooting.
Today I´m unable to backup the OS with clonezilla cause the
[Expired for linux (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60
days.]
