brcmfmac (the brcm80211 driver for full-MAC devices) does appear to
support the BCM4330 device in the nexus 7. However, the version of
brcm80211 in the 3.1-based Andoid kernel (still in the staging tree at
that time) does not.

use on the nexus7) i did some testing with it before we fell back to the
android driver/firmware from the google kernel but did not manage to get
it to
