yup, appears to be transient bug.
whereas yesterday auto completion was broken, this morning after reboot
autocompletion is working.

Today I had a rather strange experience, have been developing with 14.04 on arm
for a couple of weeks.
maybe 18 years linux experience, but hey amateur.
autocomplete in bash for commands as per ./dosomething has worked fine
eg ./do + Tab and

I tested it more accurate on Ubuntu 13.10 and 14.04.
1. If I'm on VT1 (Ctrl+Alt+F1) bash-completion works as expected - it normally
complete (with and without sudo):
* apt-get Space, Tab with
autoclean' check ... (and all other variants)
* apt-cache Space, Tab with
add dump
I'm sorry, I have removed ~/.bashrc.
After restoring it with 'cp /etc/skel/.bashrc ~/.bashrc' all bash-completion
options work normally.
