@vsepd You are right, I checked again. A right-click on the launcher-
icon and choosing "Quit" only removes the launcher-icon from the
launcher. The system monitor shows linphone still running. It works
flawless for me in xfce, but not in Unity, probably also not in Ubuntu
Gnome, have not tested

doesnt work for me. it's still in the process list after right-click-and-quit
in launcher.

Linphone does not exit
Running linphone in Ubuntu Studio (xfce). When starting linphone an icon
appears in the notification area, right-click this icon and choose quit
is one way to quit linphone. I wouldn't consider the behaviour as a bug.
Skype on Windows has the same behaviour, cosing the Skype-window with

True for 16.04 also, even worse. There is no Quit button. You cannot
quit linphone at all. The only way is to kill it using "kill" command.
