testing for proposed walinuxagent 2.2.6 has passed for all three suites;
yakkety, xenial & trusty.
These are the images with the proposed packages that have been tested:
yakkety
Tested on all 3 series on Azure virtual machines
(2.2.6-0ubuntu1~14.04.1, 2.2.6-0ubuntu1~16.04.1 and
2.2.6-0ubuntu1~16.10.1), upgraded walinuxagent and observed the logs. In
all 3 cases the following line could be seen:

2.1.5-0ubuntu4.1~16.04.0ubuntu1 and 2.1.5-0ubuntu4.1~14.04.0ubuntu1 is too
much, the ubuntu1 suffix is redundant.
For example, if one ever needs to fix up something just in xenial one typically
just increments the last digit e.g. 2.1.5-0ubuntu4.1~16.04.1,
2.1.5-0ubuntu4.1~16.04.2 etc. Another
