Christoper, I filed the bug. Anyway I made a mistake. I took the output from lshw where scsi@6 was not populated and I took for granted, that ata6 equals scsi@6 which isn't the case. Therefore I get the mentioned errors on my boot drive.

Hi, I had similar Problems with my Marvell 88EE9230. I was able to improve the situation quite a lot by updating the firmware of the controller itself. In General all firmware versions beyond version 2.3.xxx improved the situation quite a lot. The remaining problem is, that I get failures on
